With so many revelations emerging in the press about horse meat being found in processed food items advertised as beef products, we are keen to reassure parents and children that all our food is exactly as advertised.

Our menus are carefully compiled and feature many local items, reinforcing our commitment to support East Anglian producers.  A very high proportion of our dishes are traditionally prepared within your schools kitchen, allowing us to carefully control each recipe and its ingredients.  The small proportion of meat items not prepared in our kitchens are also made using meat carrying the Assured Food Standards (Red Tractor) accreditation. These items include sausages, burgers, meatballs and chicken kievs which are prepared using pork, beef and chicken which is either local or accredited from within the UK. 

The Red Tractor logo is your guarantee of quality and origin. Every critical step of the food supply chain is independently inspected to ensure food is produced to quality standards by assured farmers, growers and producers in the UK, from farm to pack. 

Our menu also includes Fair Trade orange juice and Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) accredited fish products.
